Born and raised in Wädenswil, Switzerland. Attended the Zurich School of Arts (studied with Karl Pickert, among others). Earned a diploma after three years of KG seminar. Member of visarte (professional association of visual artists). "I studied modern and jazz dance (with Edith Stephen in New York and at the Balletakademie Stockholm, among other places) and performed as a dancer in a range of productions as well as training dance instructors, painting all the while. I have lived and worked in Paris, San Francisco and New York and studied abroad in Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Mexico and many European countries, and have filled notebooks with sketches and photographs. My fascination with Berlin has provided additional inspiration for creative work."
